Hi! My name is Maaike Eline Chanowski. On this site you will find an overview of what I have been working on over the last years. It’s a mix of interior design advice, styling and sourcing combined with other interests, such as ceramics. The “home” (or in French: “maison”) is at the heart of most of these interests.

Home: I very much enjoy making a home a perfect match for the residents. By diving into the residents’ wishes, both known and unknown, we discover who their home should be, as an active player in their lives. A home as a friend, that inspires, that offers comforts, cozy-ness, excitement, joy...

Ceramics: After a course with the well known potter Tortus in Copenhagen, I became infected with the ceramics-bug. I’ve been able to bring my love for clay into practice by throwing vessels on the wheel myself and by organizing a ceramics event. There might be more of these in the future!

Other: I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to work on other assignments, such as creative direction, set dressing and colour design. I love being able to have any type of outlet for my creative views.
